Bus Transfers To and From Zadar Airport

Upon arrival at Zadar Airport (ZAD), passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, and buses.

The distance between the airport and the city is about 8 kilometers so getting to Zadar is possible with multiple ways of transport.

The airport is connected to the main bus station in Zadar by direct airport bus lines whose schedules are adjusted to the available flight.

The airport bus to Zadar Bus Terminal is in front of the international terminal to Zadar Bus Terminal downtown.

At Zadar Bus Terminal, you will find routes from and to all the major towns, cities, and places in Croatia, such as Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Sibenik, and elsewhere.

Driving time to the center of Zadar is approximately 20 minutes. The bus will stop at the main terminal and then to the old town.

When you leave the Arrivals Hall at ZAD, you will see a bus station on your right side at Ground Transportation Center.

Several times a day you can take the bus of Liburnija Zadar from the airport to the Old Town and vice versa.

The shuttle buses run from Zadar Airport via the main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor Zadar) to the bus station in the Old Town of Zadar.

This bus stop is at the street ‘Liburnska obala’ (Zadar Airport Bus Shuttle) within walking distance of hotels and the port of Zadar, known as City Port.

The price of a bus ticket is 25 HRK (€ 3.35) per journey, including luggage.

The bus timetable changes several times a year, so it is advisable to consult the schedule at the airport.

The new cruise terminal Gaženica Port is located 3 kilometers southeast of the center of Zadar.
